I can’t stop thinking about the Love Is Blind Season 6 couples’ zodiac compatibility. Sue me, but every time I watch a new season of any reality dating show, I instantly fixate on everyone’s birth charts. Who needs a finale to tell you if a couple will end up together if the stars can do that for you, right?
ICYMI, the sixth season of Love Is Blind premiered on Feb. 14 as the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for every person who loves the messy, and the dramatic, Netflix show. Like the other seasons, the show features a cast of singles who date each other for 10 days before deciding if they want to propose or not — sight unseen. If they choose to take the next step, the couples get to finally see each other, live together, and get married in the span of like, three weeks. Listen, I’m not brash enough to make decisions like that; I prefer to live vicariously through strangers from the comfort of my couch, OK?
While the timeline of the LIB relationships has me clutching my pearls, the show is a testament (for the successful couples) that when you know, you know. Plus, taking a peek at the major couples’ zodiac signs puts me at a bit of ease, so I don’t feel like I’m getting my hopes up when the stars end up unaligned.
After the first installment of Season 6, I know I’m not alone in wondering which couples are going to make it out of the gate. So, I took the liberty of researching the zodiac compatibility of the Love Is Blind Season 6 couples — so we can see if love is truly blind, or if the stars have a hand in the romance (or the heartbreak).
AD & Clay:
Amber Desiree, or “AD” is a Scorpio while her match, Clay, is a Virgo. This pairing is usually a strong one: Both of these signs place a high value on loyalty and respect, and put a great deal of trust into their relationships. However, problems can arise between these two signs — Virgo’s practicality and desire for order can clash with the aggressive and impulsive nature of a Scorpio. However, if these two can learn to embrace the parts of each other that are different, it can be a great long-term pairing.
Chelsea & Jimmy:
As hard as I tried, I couldn’t find anything on Jimmy’s birthday. However, I do know that Chelsea is a Libra, which is known to be one of the most agreeable, and likable, signs. Libra is the sign of balance and harmony, but they can also be a bit indecisive, self-indulgent, and controlling. But not to fear — if a Libra is around the right people, or with a supportive and kind partner, they can truly thrive in a relationship, and those “negative” traits will be seated on the backburner.
Brittany & Kenneth:
Both Kenneth and Brittany are Virgos, which can either be really great, or really bad. Couples with the same sign, obviously, connect on a deeper level, and that’s especially true for Virgos. Since this Earth sign can be a bit withdrawn, these same-sign couples understand each other at both their worst and best. However, this can also cause them to mirror the negative traits of each other, which can oftentimes lead to a breakup. Here’s to hoping that this couple learns to love the things that they share, rather than run from them.
Laura & Jeramy:
Laura and Jeramy are another Virgo and Scorpio pairing like AD and Clay. Similarly, I can only hope that this couple practices clear communication — their star signs require it!
Amy & Johnny:
Finally, we have Amy and Johnny. Amy is a Leo, which is known to be an outgoing, passionate, and loyal sign. However, Leos do have a reputation of being a bit dramatic, and even manipulative at times. The negative traits aren’t always true, but Leos do require a partner that lets them be themselves fully. While I couldn’t find Johnny’s zodiac sign, I truly hope that he lets Amy shine, instead of trying to stifle her spark out.
Zodiac compatibility should be taken with a grain of salt. While the stars aren’t the end-all-be-all of couples, it’s always fun to consult the stars when new relationships form. Regardless of their signs, I’m hoping that all of the Season 6 couples thrive, unlike the unions in Season 2. (We don’t talk about those.)
