Love Island will be returning to your TV screens — this time with a twist. You read that correctly: On Nov. 1 at 9 p.m. EST exclusively on Peacock, fan-favorite Love Islanders around the globe will be competing in challenges while looking for love in the spin-off series, Love Island Games. Trust me, you’ll want to keep up with all of the drama — both on the show and by following the cast on Instagram.
With Love Island Games being filmed in Fiji, this first season will be filled with Islanders competing for a second chance at love from numerous countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and more. Airing six days a week, one couple will be the first to be crowned as the Love Island Games champion. Similar to the Love Island franchise, Islanders will have to navigate the dating world while undergoing eliminations, recoupling, unexpected contestants, and challenge twists.
The first official trailer was released on Oct. 20, and as a Love Island fanatic, I have to say it looks promising. I’m ready to pop some popcorn while peeping the Islanders’ tea. With the cast being a total of 26 contestants — 13 female and 13 male Islanders — viewers should expect twists and turns like never before.
