Bad news and good news, Bachelor Nation: Luke Pell from JoJo’s season of The Bachelorette, is not dating Danielle Lombard from Nick Viall’s Bachelor season. He’s currently single. But that doesn’t mean he’s given up on finding love within the franchise.
While Pell and Lombard were recently spotted at an iHeartMedia + BMF Media event in Miami, Luke admitted to E! News that the pair have only hung out a few times.
“We’re not exclusively dating, no. We are not,” he said. “You know, a lot of the people get really excited to see Bachelor alumni anytime that they’re interacting. That was literally the second time that Danielle [and I] had met.”
This could be good for Bachelor Nation fans who are hoping Luke will appear on Bachelor in Paradise this summer. While he hasn’t officially decided to participate, he has said he would go into the experience with an open mind.
Bachelor in Paradise would also be the perfect opportunity for Luke to meet another Bachelor contestant fans are dying to see him with—Nick’s runner-up Raven Gates. Although they’ve never met, fans are rooting for the two southern reality stars to pair up.
Can we please send Luke Pell and Raven to Bachelor in Paradise?? Like that would be great #Bachelorinparadise

“I can’t count how many times I’ve been tweeted with Raven also in the same tweet about how we should be together,” he said. “I am sure I will meet her at some point and then we’ll see. She may be like, he’s a freaking weirdo and I may think the same thing. So I have no clue. We’ll just have to see.”
It’s interesting to note that both Danielle and Raven were cast on the Bachelor season that Luke was supposed to be the lead for before a last-minute switch landed Nick the title. Pell acknowledges that there’s sometimes “an elephant in the room” when he meets former contestants from Viall’s season.
“Oh, well, we were supposed to meet on the show but now we’re meeting in person,” Pell previously told Us Weekly. “How do you react to that, because you don’t pursue it the same as you would on the show?”
Maybe destiny is bringing the former contestants together? Or reality television? Definitely one of the two.
