Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are scheduled to move in next door to Prince William and Kate Middleton shortly after tying the knot.
According to The Sun, Harry is to take over Apartment 1 in Kensington Palace (apartment, as in an enormous townhouse spread over some twenty rooms), connecting to Apartment 1A, better known as the home of William and Kate and their three little ones.
The Daily Mail reports Meghan and Harry will move into their new apartment as soon as renovations are completed. The apartment which, until now, was occupied by the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.

Before the impending move, Harry spent the past few years living in a small house on the grounds of Kensington Palace known as Nottingham Cottage. William had also lived in “Not Cott” several years before he was married, while Apartment 1A was being renovated.
Interestingly enough, William and Harry also have a considerable amount of emotional attachment with the apartment because it’s where they grew up as their mother, Princess Diana, kept an apartment in the palace even after her divorce from Prince Charles.
The move to a bigger space is fueling speculation that Meghan and Harry hope to start a family soon after their wedding. The couple is also reportedly in line for another house in the country, as it has been said that the Queen will be handing them York Cottage, located in the grounds of the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
