These days, Meghan Markle lives in Frogmore Cottage — a 10-bedroom picturesque Windsor home with lush gardens — with husband Prince Harry and their newborn son Archie. But before her royal fairy tale, the Duchess of Sussex was an actress living in a rental home in Los Angeles, and honestly, her former residence is still pretty spectacular. The two-story colonial house is up for sale, and it might be the closest we can get to living like royalty.Â
According to Vanity Fair, Markle shared the Hancock Park rental home with her ex-husband Trevor Engelson when she starred in the series “Suits,” and traveling back and forth between Los Angeles and Toronto, Canada, where the show filmed. The 2,262-square-foot home is now up for sale, going for cool $1.8 million.Â
Per the property listing on Homes.com, the residence features a ton of amenities fit for a Duchess, including four bedrooms, an open floor plan, hardwood floors, an outdoor dining area, and a two-car garage.Â
The kitchen also features white cabinetry and marble countertops, which fits the bright aesthetic of Markle’s former lifestyle blog, The Tig. Plus, just imagine — you could be cooking right where the Duchess was whipping up all of her recipes. Â
This isn’t the first time that one of Markle’s former residences has gone up for sale. According to Hello Giggles, in 2017, Markle’s three-bedroom Toronto home was listed for $1.395 million.Â
You can check out the rest of the Los Angeles home’s photos in the real estate listing, and marvel at the charming colonial house. In the meantime, we’ll be daydreaming about what it’s like to live like a Duchess.Â
