Since appearing on Brad Womack’s season of The Bachelor, Michelle Money has become a franchise darling, popping up on Bachelor Pad and Bachelor in Paradise. “Fan favorite” doesn’t even begin to describe Michelle’s top-notch standing with Bachelor Nation. These days, Michelle is not only keeping up with Bachelorette JoJo’s journey to find love, but she’s also launching an initiative to promote self-love and confidence in women.
We asked you to send in questions for Michelle via social media, and you sure delivered. See what Michelle had to say about JoJo’s guys, the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise, empowering women and much more.
What was the best lesson you learned from participating in the Bachelor franchise?
Michelle Money: The best lesson I learned from my time on The Bachelor is that every single person has an important story. We have all been through hard things, and we are all doing the best we can. Understanding this reminds me that we don’t have any place to judge anyone and that we are all in need of support and love from those around us.
Of the three Bachelor franchise shows you were on, which was your favorite and why?
MM:Â Bachelor in Paradise was my favorite because it was such an easygoing atmosphere. I had become friends with a lot of the cast before filming, so that really helped to make for a much more enjoyable experience!
Robby’s week four “I love you” to JoJo seemed way soon and fake. How soon is too soon to say “I love you”?
MM: I think that love can be very confusing while you are filming The Bachelor or Bachelorette. Because they do such a great job of helping everyone fall in love, it can be deceiving while you are caught up in it all. That doesn’t mean the emotions weren’t real at the time, though. Love is such a personal emotion, so I don’t think there is one “right time” to say “I love you.”
Of the guys on this season of The Bachelorette, who do you have a crush on?
MM: I don’t really have a crush on any of the guys this season. I am excited to see who JoJo picks, though!
Who are you most excited to see on Bachelor in Paradise?
MM: I am most excited to see Carly Waddell, Sarah Herron, and Lace Morris! I think this is going to be a really fun season to watch.
If you could change one thing about your Bachelor experience, what would it be and why?
MM: I would not change one single thing! I have learned so much, and it truly has changed my life for the better. I am so grateful for every single opportunity those experiences provided for me to learn more about myself.
What are you up to these days?
MM: I am finishing up the summer with Brielle and getting her ready for junior high school, which is so crazy! I am co-hosting Good Things Utah every Monday through Friday, and spending time with my Money Talks girls, too.
Tell us about the work you’re doing to empower women and promote self-love and confidence.
MM: I am launching a monthly subscription program called “Money Talks,” where women all over the world will come together to talk about beauty, confidence, relationships, reality TV, fitness, health and much, much more! My dream is that this would be a tribe of women who unapologetically love and support one another. Within this private group, I will stream live video each day, sharing anything from makeup tips to my thoughts on the latest episode of The Bachelor. Not only will there be live interaction with me each day, but also opportunities for regional meet-ups, retreats, events, exclusive discounts and more—all with some of the most amazing women you’ll ever meet! I’ll be releasing more information about this soon, so if you’re interested, be sure to follow me on social media for the announcement!
What are some of your “can’t live without” beauty products?
MM: A few of my “can’t live without” products are:
- Crude skincare (use code “money20” for discount!)
- PMD (use code “michelle” for discount!)
- Bobbi Brown Blush in “Pale Pink”
- Bobbi Brown Corrector Concealer in “Light to Medium Bisque”
- Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder
Will we be seeing you on any other reality shows—Bachelor-affiliated or otherwise?
MM: I was on the most recent season of Marriage Boot Camp, and the last few episodes of that show are airing this month!
