While we hope we’ll hear that Liam did his Southern bride right by asking her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, for permission before proposing, we can applaud him already for his choice of bling. According to People, Liam turned to jeweler Neil Lane in search of “something unusual” for Mileybird; in return, he received a ring that featured an antique 3.5-carat diamond. This isn’t the ring that sent the Twitterverse buzzing with engagement rumors back in March—it’s the real deal this time!
