With the March 10 release of Endless Summer Vacation, Miley Cyrus demonstrates the beauty of independence and allowing yourself to emotionally feel a heartbreak. The 12-piece track includes some surprising features from artists like Sia in the expressive song “Muddy Feet” and Brandi Carlile in the country-pop track “Thousand Miles.” The album also features confident and empowering lyrics like in fan-favorite “Flowers” and the release of “Wildcard” but also discusses Cyrus’ pains of letting go of an ended relationship in songs like “Rose Colored Glasses” and “Violet Chemistry.” While listening to the album, I found myself crying while simultaneously feeling like a superstar — and honestly, I’m here for it!
Picking up on some iconic lines written in some of the song lyrics inspired me the most while listening to the album, and it had me thinking about my next Instagram post captions.
