When you think of iconic artists, there are a so many that come to mind. But there’s only one artist that has garnered the title of having the most Spotify streams. And according to Cosmopolitan, that artist is Drake.
And which one of Drizzy’s songs makes the cut? If you thought “Hotline Bling” like we did, you’d be wrong, despite all of the parodies. The most streamed song out of Spotify’s expansive list of albums is “One Dance.” And considering the fact that we can’t go without it playing somewhere, it makes so much sense.
Off of Drake’s fourth studio album Views, “One Dance” has been streamed over 880 million times. This beats out the last artists to achieve this accomplishment: “Lean On” by Major Lazer, DJ Snake and MØ, which had 525 million plays worldwide.
All of this is despite Drake originally releasing Views on Apple Music, where it was only found there for two weeks. I guess when you want Aubrey, you want Aubrey.
