Mark Your Calendars for the First Digital Muslim Women’s Day Summit

Muslim Girl is putting on their first digital Muslim Women’s Day Summit this Saturday, Mar. 27, and you’re invited! Speakers have yet to be announced, but the summit promises to bring top allies from the media and entertainment industries together with public figures, influencers and frontline activists to amplify Muslim women’s shared experiences, and will feature remote conversations throughout the day on diverse representation, social impact, allyship and more.

The theme of this year’s Muslim Women’s Day is “healing, renewal and resilience” after the end of four years of the Trump presidency. Started in 2017 after the Trump administration’s Muslim ban, Muslim Women’s Day creates a space for Muslim women to connect and share their stories, this year focusing on the journey of navigating the Trump era and pandemic.
