Many college students are just doing their best to make it through uncertain times right now. Campuses across the country are shuttering, switching to exclusively virtual classes, and while some of those campuses are allowing their students to remain in their housing, the most popular move has been to require them to vacate–and with little notice.
Many schools are taking precautions to prevent the spread of #Coronavirus by ending terms early and sending students home. We are ready to help with several moving and self-storage options including special rates for truck and trailer rentals. https://t.co/PZxkYcrx9k #uhaulcares pic.twitter.com/EYx7y9066S

Students studying abroad have released footage of the luggage that they’ve had to leave behind, and even for students studying just across the country from their homes, it can be nearly impossible to make arrangements to have all of their belongings transported with them so quickly.
Thankfully, U-Haul is offering a selection of options to help students make it work. U-Haul claims to be the only company that rents to people as young as 18, and are offering special rates on truck and trailer rentals. All you need is a valid driver’s license.
If making the long haul home isn’t an option right now, U-Haul is also offering 30 days of free self-storage to students needing to move quickly due to COVID-19, but space availability depends on location, so if this option would benefit you, act fast!
