I’m sure you know Niall Horan’s new album The Show drops on June 9. It’s been three years since his last album, Heartbreak Weather, and fans are starving for new music. So far, we have two singles to listen to and pick apart –– “Heaven” and “Meltdown.” A quick look at the lyrics reveals a pretty obvious theme: love. But, who’s Horan got his eyes on?
Funny story, he actually has been in a long-term relationship for three years. So for all those Directioners who lost track of his love life somewhere in between the Selena Gomez and Ellie Goulding rumors, here’s what you need to know about Horan’s girlfriend Amelia Woolley.
Who is Amelia Woolley?
Woolley is a 26-year-old from England who worked as a designer shoe buyer for Nicholas Kirkwood and now works for Budweiser, the alcohol brand, according to her LinkedIn.
She studied fashion in college (or during “university,” as the Brits say) at Istituto Marangoni, a super chic Italian school in Milan. Now, she lives in London for work and the paparazzi catches her and Horan out on the town in the couple’s free time.
What’s Woolley’s relationship with Horan like?
Horan and Woolley have been together since early 2020 when Horan was a coach on The Voice. They spent lockdown together and made their public debut as a couple at the singer’s Horan & Rose Gala in 2021.
In June 2022, fans spotted the lovebirds at a Harry Styles concert at Wembley Stadium, which totally set the internet on fire.
Most importantly, Horan and Woolley are a private couple. This shouldn’t be shocking since there’s barely any info about them that fans can dig up aside from the fact that they’re dating. Woolley briefly made her Instagram account public, which gave fans a look at some rare pics of her and Horan canoodling. But, as fast as she went public, her account went back to private. Now all fans can see from @ameliawoolleeyx is her profile pic and her bio, which features a lock and key.
While some fans might be a tad disappointed that Horan is off the market and that Woolley isn’t writing full-on songs about their relationship like Hailee Steinfeld reportedly did, no one can be upset about the new music Horan has been creating while in love.
His lead single off The Show called “Heaven” is heavily implied to be about his romance with Woolley and it’s so sweet. He sings, “I believe, I believe / I could die in your kiss / No, it doesn’t get, doesn’t get / Better than, better than this.” Like, *monkey covering eyes emoji*.
All in all, Woolley keeps her life private and her romance off the internet. She’s protecting her peace, her bag, and her man. Mad respect. I can’t wait to hear what other songs we get about her on The Show.
