Get ready Barbz, because the Queen of Rap is coming to a city near you! Just a few days after Nicki Minaj released her highly anticipated Pink Friday 2 album on Dec. 8, she announced on Instagram that she’s taking the new project on the road in 2024. “BARBZZZ!! It’s time for the #GagCity TOUR. So excited to see you guys!!” Minaj shared on Dec. 11. Of course, fans can’t wait to get their hands on tickets once they go on sale on Dec. 15. For many, this newly announced tour has been a long time coming, since the last time Minaj took her music on the road was for The Pinkprint Tour, which took place in 2015. Since then, fans have been patiently waiting for Minaj to tour again, and now that she is with Pink Friday 2, the Barbz can’t contain their excitement.
Pink Friday 2 marked a special milestone in Minaj’s career as it was released on her birthday after being shifted from Nov. 17. Before the album dropped, Minaj expressed how “proud” she was of this project and called it an “incredible body of work” that’s “very special” during a live stream in October 2023.
Since the album’s release, fans haven’t stopped talking about it and now that the rapper is going on tour, the Barbz have something to look forward to in 2024!
