Obama’s White House Photographer Is Throwing Major Shade at President Trump on Instagram

They’re calling him the “master of classy shade,” according to The Washington Post. Pete Souza, who was the White House photographer during the Obama Administration, is having a lot of fun with President Donald Trump.

Through strategically chosen #TBT pictures from the Obama years, Souza’s providing his own commentary on recent happenings in Trumpworld—for example, Melania refusing to hold President Trump’s hand earlier this week.

Holding hands.

He’s totally trolling Trump, and going viral at the same time. The posts are so funny that they kind of bring the positive energy of the Obama family back to social media.

Just yesterday, he posted a picture of Obama and the Pope.

Mutual admiration, 2016.

The photo stands in stark contrast to yesterday’s photo of a smiling Trump standing beside a scowling Pope Francis.

While photos only capture a moment in time and don’t necessarily represent the full story, Souza’s photo throwbacks are still a fascinating comparison between the past and present administration.

His posts remind followers of the days when smiles were many and scandals were few. And after having one of the coolest jobs in America, Souza is definitely looking to use his pictures for the full benefit (and laughter) of his audience.
