Move over, Pedro Pascal, TikTok has a brand new obsession. After the 2023 Super Bowl, the internet took notice of a new face and ran with it. And no, I’m not talking about Jalen Hurts, or even Travis Kelce — I’m talking about a certain celebrity’s son. IYKYK.
But if you don’t know, I’ll fill you in. After the Kansas City Chiefs took home a Super Bowl win, 2021’s Sexiest Man Alive, Paul Rudd, was interviewed on the field. As a lifelong Chiefs fan, Rudd was obviously overjoyed and — in some moments — speechless. Luckily, his son, Jack Sullivan Rudd, was there beside him… and fans are obsessed. Not based on his looks (though he definitely resembles his parents), but the fact that he is literally a clone of his father. I’m not exaggerating: He even sounds just like him.
Jack has his dad’s sense of humor, too. “I just wanted to thank Patrick Mahomes for existing, for putting in all the work, so we can all just enjoy his greatness every week,” he said to FOX Sports giddily. “I’m so lucky that I’m alive to watch this. I cannot believe he’s a real person. I don’t know how to explain it.”
It didn’t take long for TikTok to claim Jack as their newest obsession. On the app, #jackrudd has over 1.3 million views and is full of edits of the father-son duo.
Obviously, the Rudd Family TikTok Takeover has piqued my interest and sent me down a rabbit hole of all things Jack Rudd. So, if you’re looking for the lowdown on TikTok’s newest fascination, I’ve got you covered.
How Old Is Jack Sullivan Rudd?
Paul Rudd and his partner, Julie Yaeger, have famously kept their personal life private. However, there are a few things that we know in regard to Jack. According to PEOPLE, Jack is 17, which would place his birth year at 2006. While his birthday hasn’t been confirmed by any major publications or his parents, much of the internet speculate his birthday to be on April 20 (Tauruses, WYA?).
Other than that, there’s not much out there on Jack. Honestly? I love that for him: In the day and age of family vloggers, it’s refreshing to see a family that protects their children and keeps the personal, private. Though, I would love to see more of the Rudd Family in the future. Maybe they can adopt me!
