Princess Charlotte attended her first day of preschool on Monday, BBC News reports.
The two-year-old princess, who was photographed before heading off to Willcocks Nursery School in London, looked adorable in her red coat and shoes and pink backpack. According to ABC News, Princess Kate told a young girl during a visit to a children’s center in London in November that Charlotte’s favorite color is pink.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte at Kensington Palace this morning. The images were taken by the Duchess shortly before Princess Charlotte left for her first day of nursery at the Willcocks Nursery School,” Kensington Palace said in a statement.

According to ABC News, Prince William and Kate announced where Charlotte would be attending nursery school in December.
The preschool, which is located near Kensington Palace as well as the school that Prince George attends, says that it’s a “traditional nursery school which strives to maintain its ethos for high standards, excellence and good manners,” ABC News reports.
We wish Princess Charlotte good luck as she starts school!
