Love Is Blind Season 3 has been full of surprises — and the biggest surprises, of course, came from the wedding episodes. Some couples got hitched, while others — in a shocking turn of events — said no at the altar. And on Wednesday, Nov. 9, Netflix dropped the reunion episode of Love Is Blind, revealing what happened after the altar — and there was a lot I wasn’t expecting. Spoiler alert: Spoilers for Love Is Blind Season 3 follow.
One couple that didn’t get married at the altar was Raven and SK, who, despite their deep emotional connection in the pods, struggled with some problems IRL. The biggest hurdle for the couple? SK was planning on moving to California to get his master’s degree right after their wedding, while Raven wanted to stay in Dallas, Texas — and that was a huge reason why SK said no on wedding day.
At the altar, SK said, “Today, Raven, we both know how we feel about each other. I love you. However, we have a very unique and complex set of circumstances. I feel like today is not the best time for us to do this.” Later, he added, “It is no question in my mind [that] I love Raven. I know she’s probably mad and angry, but I would just feel really bad and guilty to continue on in a marriage with her when I know there are so many other unanswered questions.”
Raven was heartbroken and “shocked” about the rejection, but seemed to understand SK’s decision. She even hugged him at the altar after he said no (I’m crying), and SK’s mom, Ade, went to comfort her after the whole ordeal.
And honestly? I really thought these two were officially over — until Raven and SK dropped a major bombshell at the reunion and revealed that they were dating! Host Vanessa Lachey coyly asked, “Are y’all dating right now?” after Raven admitted that the two had “hooked up” since their wedding day, and Raven beamed, saying, “Yeah.” After the reveal, the happy couple got up from their separate seats, ran into each other’s arms, and smooched on camera. Aww!
While the two are currently living in separate states, they’ve been doing long distance and making things work. “We’ve never been on this level in any other relationship,” Raven shared. “Nothing is perfect, but we’ve grown so much from this experiment, first of all, from what we went through, from being apart… It makes it so much better when we’re together.” I’m not crying, you are.
Wishing all the best for these two!
