On Aug. 30, the finale episode of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 2 was released, and fans are well… conflicted. The show brings utter chaos to viewers’ screens, which means it’s sort of the perfect show to create memes out of. And The Ultimatum fans have been doing just that — the tweets and jokes on social media are seriously hilarious.
To briefly explain the context of the show, The Ultimatum is a popular Netflix reality series that features five couples who have missing pieces in their relationships that are holding them back from making the ultimate commitment of marriage. With one person ready to get married and the other unsure, the couples are put to the test. In an attempt to salvage their relationships, the couples are met with an ultimatum: get married or move on. To see if their love is real, the cast experiences trial marriages with new partners from the rest of the group, and they have eight weeks to decide who they want to be with.
After a season of pregnancy scares, lying, and drama, fans have mixed emotions about the finale and the final couples. It even caused some to look at the zodiac compatibility of the couples to make sense of it all. After the finale dropped on Aug. 30, fans escaped to X (or should I say Twitter) to express their concerns for the show and make memes of the chaotic season.
Let’s start with Lisa, who wasthe drama this season. Not only was her blowout fight with Brian a lot, they also skipped the choosing ceremony and left the show together — and all of this happened in the second episode. To say Lisa is a strong personality would be an understatement.
If you were to describe the cast in one word: Chaos.
Cast aside, let’s talk about the hosts. What happened to the petition from the Love Is Blind reunion to get rid of Vanessa Lachey? Fans are disappointed.
The math is not mathing for some of these couples, and Twitter agrees.
After this finale, viewers are tired. The drama alone was a lot to handle, and was a little much at times. But at least some couples found their happily ever after in the end.
