Rihanna Revealed She’s Pregnant During Her Super Bowl Performance & Fans Lost It

Rihanna not only stole the 2023 Super Bowl and turned it into her own live online concert, but she also took a cue from Beyoncé and announced her pregnancy in the most iconic way possible — in front of an estimated 100 million people. Twitter seemed to go crazy not only for Rihanna’s stunning visuals throughout her live performance, the varied setlist, or even her backup dancers and the many, many memes, but also because it appeared (and was later confirmed) that she was pregnant once again.

Right after the performance, Rihanna’s reps confirmed to Rolling Stone that she is indeed pregnant, and let’s just say Twitter started freaking out all over again. Most fans were ecstatic to learn that she was expecting again, while others interpreted the news as a sign that another album would not be released anytime soon. Rihanna’s first child with A$AP Rocky was born in May 2022.

I need some time to process everything — I’m still reeling from the live performance.

Even though nobody was expecting a new baby to be Rihanna’s surprise guest at the 2023 Super Bowl, it’s safe to say we’re all ecstatic for her.
