Selena Gomez has been out of the public eye for a while, coping with anxiety and depression. We’ve heard rumblings of her multiple trips to Texas Roadhouse, but never did I imagine Selena was spending some of her time cultivating a new (maybe?) relationship.
Us Weekly reports that Selena was spotted kissing The Weeknd last night—and yes, they do have the pictures to prove it! The two musical superstars were photographed leaving a Santa Monica restaurant together, and they seemed pretty cozy. *insert cheesy joke about Selena not being able to keep her hands to herself*
Sources tell Us Weekly that the two are making music together and “are just getting to know each other better.”
Those of you who keep up with squad happenings will recall that The Weeknd previously dated Gigi Hadid’s sister Bella. Gigi and Selena are both elite members of Taylor Swift’s girl squad, but it’s not unlike this group to swap guys.
Only time will tell if this is a legit relationship or just a bit of friendly flirting. But it couldn’t hurt to ogle the pics, could it?
