Tara Reid’s Whirlwind Marriage “Was Never Legal”

Tara Reid’s surprise marriage to Bulgarian financier Zack Kehayov was her fourth engagement but the first time she walked down the aisle.  After dating for three months, Kehayov proposed to Reid and the two tied the knot later that same day. Reid frequently shared information about her personal life with her fans via Twitter and her marriage ceremony, which took place on the island of Santorini, outside of Greece, was no exception.
On the day of her August wedding, Reid uploaded a picture of herself in a white wedding dress.

Throughout the summer, Reid continued to tweet about life in the throes of marital bliss until today when, caught off guard by a TMZ reporter at an airport, she confessed that she and her husband of two months had not been “legally married.” The reporter had asked Reid if she and her new husband would do well on The Newlywed Show (a game that awards points to the couples that know each other best), hinting that she and her husband might not do too well due to how brief their relationship was before they took their nuptial vows. Far from being put off by the insinuation, a disoriented looking Reid agreed with the reporter, saying “We would lose … we were never really married, it was never legal.”

This came as a shock to those who have been following Reid on twitter and were witness to comments like “Just got married in Greece I love being a wife!” and many in which she referred to Keyayov as her husband. On September 5th she tweeted: “I just saw my husband he surprised me in London! Amazing!!!!!!!!” Although she has now admitted on camera (you can watch the video on TMZ’s website) that her marriage was never legalized, she has yet to approach the press with a reason for its illegitimacy.

How was Reid’s love life before this allegedly fake marriage?  She was previously engaged to Carson Daly (Total Request Live throw back!), Michael Axtmann and –according to her reps – was not only engaged but also married to Mihael Lilleund, a Danish businessmen who claimed that the wedding never happened.
