Tate McRae Fans, Here’s What We Know About Whether She’ll Be At The Grammys

2024 is the year of Tate McRae, if you ask me. Following the success of her album Think Later, fans were eager to see if McRae would be attending the 2024 Grammys. Well, bestie, I hate to be the bearer of bad news — Tate McRae chose to sit this one out, unfortunately.

Instead of attending the 2024 Grammys, it s McRae devoted her time preparing for and performing (like the star she is) in the National Hockey League All-Star Game on Feb. 3. There, McRae stunned viewers with her performance of “exes” during the game’s halftime, dressed in a gorgeous two-piece silver outfit topped with black cargo pants.

McRae also sparked her own relationship rumors when she was seen holding hands with The Kid Laroi during the game. The reported couple’s handholding comes shortly after they were spotted departing together after a dinner date in L.A. earlier in Jan. 2024.

Nonetheless, even though she did not attend the awards event, her absence was noted by fans, who expressed their disappointment on X/Twitter. They are also expressing their hope for her to make an appearance next year for Grammys 2025 — which I am also manifesting for. (Is it too soon to predict that 2025 will be McRae’s record-breaking year?) Aside from her NHL performance, McRae is preparing for her upcoming world tour, the Think Later Tour.

The tour will begin on April 17 in Dublin, Ireland, and will continue for half of the year, closing on Nov. 24. The tour is also planned to include tour dates in the United States, beginning on July 9 in San Francisco and ending on Aug. 22 in New York (I’m already in the process of buying my ticket as we speak).

Here’s to hoping we see McRae at the 2025 Grammys!
