Taylor Swift Dropped By This 96-Year-Old Fan’s Family Christmas Party to Surprise Him

Throughout the years, Taylor Swift has proved that she’s one of the most kindhearted, generous celebrities. Aside from donating to multiple charities, Taylor has also surprised fans with gifts and the opportunity to hang out with her. Remember her top-secret 1989 listening sessions where she invited fans into her home? NBD.

In the spirit of the holidays, Taylor made a 96-year-old fan’s dream come true when she stopped by his Christmas party.


In a previous interview, Cyrus Porter told a news station that he’s been to two of Taylor’s shows—and he’s got plenty of concert merchandise and photos to prove it. Considering that Cyrus has been an avid fan of Taylor for years, you can imagine how excited he was when one of his favorite singers took time out of her holiday festivities to visit him.

It all started when Taylor showed up at Cyrus’ New Madrid, MO home. Needless to say, screams ensued from Cyrus’ 20+ grandchildren and his other relatives.

During her visit, Taylor took tons of photos with Cyrus. If that’s not the smile of a fan who’s having the best day ever, I don’t know what is.

She also engaged in the cutest “Shake It Off” sing-along with Cyrus and his family.

And Cyrus gave Tay a tour of his home, proudly showing her his WWII memories.

But the cuteness didn’t stop there.

I think it’s safe to say that this was a Christmas celebration Cyrus will never forget.
