Swifties of the world, this message is for you. By now, you’ve probably listened to Midnights at least 100 (or 113) times. Chances are, the lyrics to “Anti-Hero” are permanently embedded in your brain. If I were to guess, you’re waiting patiently (or impatiently) for the full release of the Midnights visual album, whenever that may be. And, assuming that you’ve heard the news about Taylor’s upcoming Eras Tour, I bet you have Nov. 15 and 18 marked on your calendar. (For those of you that don’t know, Capital One Cardholders have early access to ticket sales on Nov. 15, while the rest of us have to wait till Nov. 18.)
Recently on Twitter, Swift has gifted her fans with another surprise. Eight more shows have just been added to the tour. That’s right — not one, not two, but eight more opportunities to see your favorite blonde-haired, red-lipped singer-songwriter in concert. Though it seems impossible to have to wait until 2023 for the Eras Tour, we’ll just have to be strong.
When and where are the new tour dates?
An additional show in Tampa, Florida has been added to the line-up, with appearances by artists Gracie Abrams and beabadoobee. This concert will take place on Apr. 14, preceding the other Tampa show on Apr. 15.
Longtime Swiftie Phoebe Bridgers and Gracie Abrams will open for Taylor on May 15 in Nashville, Tennessee. Bridgers will stay for the next Nashville show, which is on the following day, with pop singer GAYLE joining her.
After the May 12 and May 13 shows, Philadelphia will receive a third concert on May 14. Bridgers will return with Abrams for this final show, while the first two will feature Bridgers and GAYLE.
Ending Swift’s tour in Foxborough, Massachusetts, there’s an additional show on May 21. Once again, expect to see Bridgers and Abrams.
If you’re in East Rutherford, New Jersey on May 28, you’re in luck: Swift now has a show that day, too. Indie/R&B artist OWENN will join Bridgers as Swift’s special guest stars.
On July 23, near the end of the tour, you have another opportunity to catch Swift, Abrams, and rock band HAIM in Seattle.
Finally, California will see a lot of Swift. New shows have been announced in Santa Clara, California on July 28, as well as in Los Angeles on Aug. 3. HAIM and Abrams will be present for both performances.
Where can I get tickets?
Get your tickets on Nov. 18 (or Nov. 15, if you’re a Capital One Cardholder) before they’re gone on the TS Events website. Also, keep an eye on Swift’s Twitter — knowing her, she might treat her fans to some extra shows. A Swiftie can dream, can’t they?
