Taylor Swift & Keleigh Teller’s Friendship Timeline Is Giving Major Bestie Energy

Oh, to be part of Taylor Swift’s friend group and eat a $400-per-person meal at Sushi Park together. On Oct. 19, Swift was spotted having dinner in L.A. with some of the members of her girl gang: Selena Gomez, Zoë Kravitz, and Keleigh Teller. If the last name “Teller” doesn’t ring a bell, let me ring it for you. Keleigh Teller is an actress and model who just so happens to be married to actor Miles Teller (aka the heartthrob from Top Gun: Maverick who inspired every guy you know to grow a mustache). She also happens to be besties with Swift. Um, hi, how do I sign up to be Keleigh Teller?

Their friendship became widely known after Teller starred in the music video for Swift’s Red vault track “I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version),” which premiered in November 2021. But Swift and Teller’s friendship timeline goes all the way back to 2015. They say you should never meet your heroes, but they never said anything about becoming friends with them! Teller is living every Swiftie’s dream, and I’m living vicariously through her.

2015: Teller helps Swift pick out her 1989 World Tour outfit.

The caption on Teller’s post has been edited to say “T!”, but E! News reports that the original caption revealed that Swift and Teller have known each other since her “Blank Space” days. Teller wrote, “A night I will never forget, sitting in this super human’s dressing room and picking out her finale outfit while she calmly sips coffee and thousands of people are screaming in excitement above her.”

2018: Teller attends the Reputation Stadium Tour.

Teller posted her first picture with Swift on May 20, 2018 while backstage at the Rose Bowl stop of the Reputation Stadium Tour. Add that to the list of receipts of their BFF status!

2019: Swift sends the Tellers a bouquet on their wedding day.

Swift couldn’t make it to the Tellers’ wedding on Sept. 1, 2019, so she sent the couple a bouquet of flowers along with a note that read, “Dear Keleigh and Miles, May you always be this close, forever & ever. Sending my best wishes to two lovers on their big day. Your friend, Taylor.” Leave it to the mastermind to send an aww-worthy message that promotes Lover at the same time.

2021: The Tellers star in Swift’s music video for “I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version).”

This music video is star-studded both on screen and behind the scenes. Blake Lively directed the revenge wedding-themed music video in which Miles played the groom, Swift played his scorned ex-girlfriend, and Keleigh played the bride.

Teller’s fictional wedding might have been ruined, but she was actually crying for a different reason. She posted a picture of herself and Swift with the (since edited) caption: “I watched on as Miles and Taylor did the stunning dance sequence and Taylor played ‘All Too Well (10 Minute Version) for me during. It was a MOMENT.” I would have cried too.

2023: Teller hangs out with Swift during her Eras Tour era.

Teller proved that she’s a Swiftie through and through by attending the Eras Tour in New Jersey on May 27. She’s also been spotted with Swift in both  Los Angeles and NYC. The pair were photographed walking into a recording studio on Oct. 3, so if you see the words “featuring Keleigh Teller” in the near future, don’t be alarmed.

Though Swift has never re-recorded her music videos, if she ever decides to make a sequel to “Bad Blood,” I can guarantee that Teller would be on the climactic battle’s front lines.
