People Are Waiting *Hours* For Taylor Swift Merch & The TikToks Are Wild

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has been making *a lot* of headlines since its start on March 17 in Glendale, Arizona. Swifties have been planning their outfits inspired by Swift for months and doing Eras Tour outfit reveals on TikTok with her trending songs. The opening night also immediately started trending when fans were freaking out over her literally diving into the stage. Now, this epic tour is in the news again, but this time, it’s about the wild lines that have formed for Taylor Swift tour merch.

Fans on TikTok have been documenting their experience waiting in line to buy Swift’s merch – and it’s been chaotic. This fan posted how they were in line for more time than it takes for Swift to perform 44 songs. (Which is her entire setlist!) Another fan waited for six hours, and they still didn’t get the hoodie they wanted. This has been a common issue of fans waiting for hours just for everything to be sold out by the time they get to the front. One fan even started writing their college essay while waiting in line because it took so long. Some also started camping out 36 hours before the concert even began!

If you’re like me and couldn’t fathom waiting in line for over six hours, there is a way you can still get your favorite merch without all the chaos. You can purchase items from the Eras Tour collection on Swift’s online store. There are currently 46 items listed, including T-shirts, hoodies, crewnecks, sweatpants, posters, stickers, and more. But, unfortunately, the tour-exclusive merch is not available to purchase online just yet. Fans have been petitioning for this merch to be available online to finally get all their favorite items they missed out on at the concert. Hopefully, Swift’s team will take the hint!

So, if you prefer to buy the tour-exclusive merch, be prepared (physically and mentally) to stand in line a little bit longer than you’d expected. And be aware the item you wanted may be sold out. Whether you choose to buy online or take the risk, according to hardcore Swifties, it’s totally worth it!
