Here’s The Tea On Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Body Language In Those Viral Date Night Photos

Taylor Swift knows her worth, and she deserves a man who lets her be the shining star she is. Swift’s new relationship with football player Travis Kelce, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, seems beyond promising — especially when you consider their body language during their latest date nights in NYC on Oct. 14 and 15.

The rumors around Swift and Kelce’s budding relationship first started during Swift’s July stop on her record-breaking Eras Tour at Arrowhead Stadium, when Kelce tried to give Swift his phone number on a friendship bracelet but was unsuccessful. He later expressed his disappointment on New Heights With Jason & Travis Kelce, a podcast he hosts with his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce.

Since then, Swift has been spotted in the stands at the Chiefs games multiple times starting on Sept. 24, hanging out with her own famous friends as well as Donna Kelce (Travis’ mom). Swift’s most recent NFL appearances have not only sent the internet into a frenzy, but they have all but confirmed those romance rumors. At this point, it’s clear something is going on between the singer and the athlete.

But Swift and Kelce’s appearance together in New York City on Oct. 14 and 15 really took things to the next level. The pair was spotted holding hands in photos that are rapidly circulating online, and TBH, fans can’t get enough of them. I also couldn’t help but notice the telling body language between Swift and Kelce. Her Campus spoke to  body language expert Blanca Cobb, who 100% agrees.

While walking side by side as they left the Westerly Inn following a romantic dinner on Oct. 15, Kelce was photographed holding onto Swift’s hand. “Taylor’s left hand is sandwiched between both of his. He’s letting her know that he’s got her, both emotionally and protectively,” Cobb says.

In another photo of Swift and Kelce walking together from the same night, Cobb points out, “Travis’s hand is leading, which indicates that he’s taking charge in a protective way of Taylor.”

In a photo of the two leaving a Saturday Night Live afterparty on Oct. 14, Cobb noticed that Kelce was “bringing Taylor into his personal zone as a way to keep her close — chivalrous and protective!” What makes this photo even more adorable is that Kelce was wearing the blue and white color scheme of Swift’s fifth studio album, 1989, which she is set to re-release on Oct. 27.

Overall, Cobb offers a profound reflection: “Travis is happy and confident because he knows that Taylor’s in good hands: his.”
