If there’s one thing to know about me, it’s that I love a good reality show. And ever since the fourth season of Love Is Blind wrapped up a few months ago, I’ve been in a bit of an entertainment drought. However, with the release of The Ultimatum: Queer Love, consider me hydrated.
ICYMI, The Ultimatum: Queer Love is the highly-anticipated follow-up to Netflix’s infamous The Ultimatum: Marry Or Move On. Essentially, the show works like this: a group of couples enter the show, each one with one person who wants to get married and the other who simply isn’t ready. From there, the couples split up and choose to date one other person for three weeks to see if they truly want to be with their original partner. After that, they return to their original partner to see if they want to marry them, stay single, or leave with someone else.
While the first installment of The Ultimatum featured straight couples, Netflix’s newest iteration revolves around five queer couples with female and non-binary partners. And since this season is the first of its kind, and full of absolute characters, it’s a catalyst for IG stalking.
