Kylie Jenner is a busy woman. Balancing two kids, a new clothing line, and a boyfriend all while being a better comedian than Matt Rife on reality TV. Timothée Chalamet, on the other hand, has had his hands full starring in Wonka, A Complete Unknown and Dune 2. It’s a wonder these two have had time to fit a relationship into their compact schedules after meeting for the first time while attending the same Jean Paul Gaultier fashion show in January 2023 during Paris Couture Week.
On Sept. 4th, 2023, Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner officially debuted their relationship at Beyoncé’s birthday concert in Los Angeles. They were spotted engaging in some serious PDA — cuddling up, enjoying the concert together, and making out. Before this outing, the two were just rumored to be seeing each other after Travis Scott and Jenner ended their long-term relationship at the start of 2023. Neither Chalamet nor Jenner brought up the concert and the intense makeouts caught on camera — until now.
In a recent TikTok posted on Dec. 18 by MTV, Chalamet was asked what his best concert experience of the year was. Chalamet must have his head in the clouds whenever he is around Jenner, because he completely forgot he had been to any concerts in 2023. The interviewer quickly reminded him that he went to Bey with the KarJenners and that it was documented. Chalamet sheepishly laughed, smiling to himself after the memories obviously came flooding back. Through his smiles, he said the experience (not sure if he was talking about the concert or being there with Jenner) was great — not just once, but twice. He went on to say, “Hard to be present.” I don’t blame him — I think most people would have had a hard time being present when they’re constantly flirting and making out with Kylie Jenner, no matter where they were.
Chalamet and Jenner have been pretty low-key with their relationship since Us Weekly confirmed the two were dating in April. It seems important to both of them to let the other have the spotlight during the celebration of their projects. A source told Entertainment Tonight, “Even though Kylie has so many of her own commitments, she is very proud of Timothée and wants to be there for him and support him. Timothée is equally supportive of Kylie and admires her strong work ethic and how committed she is as a mom.”
At the Wonka premiere in Los Angeles on Dec. 10, Jenner decided to opt out of the red carpet, careful not to steal the night away from her boyfriend. Jenner also quietly celebrated Chalamet’s Saturday Night Live episode by meeting up with him at the afterparty. The couple seems to want to stay as private as possible, since they somehow got through the entire afterparty without having a photo taken of them together.
I need Jenner to release a dating masterclass ASAP. I think we all want our significant others to be so obsessed with being in our presence that they forget they were at the iconic Renaissance World Tour.
