Tinder U’s “Swipe Off” Challenge Can Bring Saweetie To Your Campus For A Free Concert

Dating apps can bring you a lot of joy, a lot of heartbreak, or maybe even both. However, this fall, Tinder is teaming up with college campuses to bring them something other than a “u up?” text. Because, ICYMI, Tinder U is joining forces with Saweetie for their first Swipe Off challenge.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve spent several years on and off of Tinder just looking for a husband and to see who’s out there on my college campus. Tinder, while for everyone, has taken it upon itself to be a primarily collegiate app, with more than half of the app’s users aged 18-25. And I’ll be honest, I’m not on Tinder religiously — that’s probably why I’m single — but I like Saweetie enough to up my swipes. And getting back on Tinder might just earn my campus a private concert from the “My Type” rapper herself.

If you’re unfamiliar, Saweetie is a rapper who rose to fame after her songs “Best Friend,” “My Type,” and “Tap In” blew up on social media. Now, the artist is partnering with Tinder for a chance to perform on one, very special college campus — with rapper Baby Tate as a featured guest.

Tinder’s collegiate feature, Tinder U, has created a challenge for college singles to swipe (left or right) to their heart’s content for the chance to win a free campus-wide Saweetie concert. The challenge, called “Swipe Off,” is open to all college campuses, and anyone who verifies their Tinder account with their student email is qualified to participate.

Tinder U, the collegiate side of the app that you can access once you input your school email, is available to all students 18+. To get access, all you have to do is edit your profile, click on your school, apply using your school email, and once you’re approved, you’re in.

Swipe Off is active through Oct. 6, 2023, when Tinder will announce the winner nationwide on their app and on their socials. Although Tinder is available in 190 countries and over 45 languages, the Swipe Off is available only in the United States.

I’m on a small campus, but you bet I’m going to be active on Tinder for the chance to win a free concert from Saweetie for my school. Let’s get swiping!
