The Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce romance continues, and the Kansas City Chiefs star is as sweet as ever to his lady! At the Chiefs game against the New England Patriots on Dec. 17 at Gillette Stadium, Swift was seen in attendance sporting all Chiefs gear in a beanie and a sweatshirt. Swift has visited Gillette Stadium before — performing her own concerts — but this time, she was in attendance strictly to enjoy the football game and cheer on Kelce.Â
If you have been following along with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s whirlwind romance, you would know Kelce is always spilling the details about his relationship with Swift on his podcast, New Heights. Even if you aren’t a football fan, you can catch Kelce talking about Swift on the podcast ever since they went public back in September — so adorable!Â
Kelce took to his podcast the week of Dec. 18 with his co-host and brother, Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles, to talk about the game. Gillette Stadium is home to the New England Patriots, so Swift was in enemy territory, yet most fans of either team were so excited to see her in attendance. Kelce said, “They showed Taylor [on the jumbotron] at the game. You don’t see an entire home team fanbase go insane for somebody wearing the opposite team’s colors.” He continued, “Just shows you how amazing that girl is. They went absolutely insane when they showed Taylor on that screen.”
But not everyone is a Taylor Swift fan, and she did happen to have some boos from the crowd. Whether they were just booing the Chiefs gear or maybe they just weren’t a Swiftie, Kelce stuck up for his girl saying, “There might’ve been a few Brads and Chads that were booing, but for the most part, everybody was f*cking screaming their tail off for her.”Â
This definitely isn’t the first time Taylor Swift was in attendance at one of Travis Kelce’s games, and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to be the last. Swift made her first appearance at a Chiefs game on Sept. 24, 2023, so Kelce and Swift have been going steady for almost three months now. (Publicly, at least.) Since then, Swift has been to 7 games, all while still performing on her Eras Tour. This past game she had her dad, Scott Swift, and other friends in attendance, basically proving this relationship is getting serious.Â
This month, Taylor Swift was named the TIME person of the year, and also celebrated her 34th birthday on Dec. 13, so it’s safe to say things are going great for her right now — especially her budding romance with Kelce, who is always gushing over her at his games. Swift even mentioned Kelce in her TIME cover story, saying, “I’m just there to support Travis.” It’s clear to see the pair are going strong right now, and all Swifties can agree, we are all rooting for this relationship to work just as much as Taylor Swift is rooting for the Chiefs to win.
