Kendall Jenner has come a long way in the modeling industry. At only 20 years old, she has walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, starred in commercials as the face of Estée Lauder, and can be found gracing billboards around the world. Now, she’s achieving another milestone in her career with Vogue. While she may not be on the cover just yet, the magazine is publishing a 52-page special edition issue all about the young model.
The supplemental issue includes new and repurposed content solely focusing on the model, her vast social media presence, and moreover, how she manages to stay grounded in the midst of all the media attention.
The cover story, written by Robert Sullivan, documents a day in the life of Kendall during hectic New York Fashion Week. The feature includes interviews with Karl Lagerfeld, Tory Burch, Michael Kors and Francesco Costa, who recount their experiences working with Jenner. They, of course, only have wonderful things to say about her—Lagerfeld calls her a “very sweet person. Very caring and not at all spoiled by those superficial successes.”
To have a special Vogue issue solely dedicated to you is surely any model’s dream come true. Kendall took to Instagram to express her excitement and disbelief: “Y’all I could cry! my very own Vogue Magazine. THE WHOLE THING. JUST ME. WHAT!! so honored to be the special edition issue @voguemagazine thank you!”
The special edition issue will be available online and included with copies of the April issue of Vogue for New York and Los Angeles subscribers.
