Was Beyoncé Rude to Her Wardrobe Assistant?

When you’re the fiercest and most flawless woman on the face of the earth (we’re talking about Beyoncé here, obviously) it’s hard to believe that you’d ever need help in looking or feeling fabulous. But as with all celebrities, even Queen Bey herself must arrive on the red carpet with a team of assistants to ensure she stays looking picture perfect for the paparazzi.

A video showing Beyoncé telling a fussy wardrobe assistant fixing her dress to “stop it” has created some buzz online, with some people accusing her of having a “bad attitude.”

We were prepared to be disappointed in our favorite superstar’s behaviour, but we’re wondering if this is all what people are making it out to be. Beyoncé clearly tried to be subtle in telling the assistant to move away, and she sheepishly complied immediately. The singer is constantly swarmed by paparazzi, makeup artists, fans, and the media, so it’s not exactly ridiculous that she might want to be left alone for minute. Sure, she could have added a “please,” but does this really make her a monster?

This just goes to show how far the media will go to try to mar the reputations of popular stars. You keep doing you, Beyoncé—assertiveness looks just as good on you as that gorgeous dress did.
