I know that I’m not the only one keeping up with the Try Guys after the Ned Fulmer cheating scandal. And if you tell me I’m alone in that, then you’re lying. Almost an entire year has gone by since the internet (basically) burst into flames after the news that internet personality Ned Fulmer cheated on his wife, Ariel Fulmer, with an employee at his company. And as the days go by, I (and many others) have the same question in our minds: Where is Ned Fulmer working now?
But first, some background. The Try Guys is a content creator group that originated on BuzzFeed, and was founded by Keith Habersberger, Zach Kornfeld, Eugene Lee Yang, and Fulmer. On Sept. 27, 2022, news broke that Fulmer had been caught cheating on his wife with Alexandria Herring, a producer at his company who also appeared in a bunch of Try Guys videos. (Oh, and she was engaged to another man, too.) Swiftly after the news went viral, the Try Guys released an official statement revealing that, after a “thorough internal review,” Fulmer would be parting ways with the company.
Fulmer also released his own statement saying, “Family should have always been my priority, but I lost my focus and had a consensual workplace relationship. I’m sorry for any pain that my actions have caused to the guys and the fans but most of all to Ariel. The only thing that matters right now is my marriage and my children, and that’s where I am going to focus my attention.”
Since the scandal, Fulmer has been flying under the radar — as well as being edited out of the Try Guys’ pre-recorded content. Additionally, Fulmer hasn’t posted on Instagram, or shown any social media activity, since his statement on Sept. 27, 2022. So, what’s Fulmer been up to? Here’s what we know.
Where is Ned Fulmer working now?
Fulmer first started his career in entertainment at BuzzFeed as a Development Partner before opening up his production company, 2nd Try, LLC, with Habersberger, Kornfeld, and Lee Yang. Prior to this, Fulmer was a graduate of Yale University and worked as a chemist alongside performing in various improv troupes as a hobby.
According to Fulmer’s LinkedIn, however, it seems as though he’s launching into the media space again under his company, Fulmer Media, Inc. There isn’t much online about the new media venture, but Fulmer did update his profile picture on all social media platforms, and changed his bio to show off his former workplaces, BuzzFeed and 2nd Try, LLC.
So, what’s the deal with Fulmer Media? I’m not entirely sure. But, when I figure it out, you’ll be the first to know.
