‘Love Is Blind’ Season 6 Is Taking The Pods To Another Major City

Whoever decided that Cupid Day and the Season 6 premiere of Love Is Blind should be on the same day is kind of a genius. In case you’ve missed it, Netflix’s hit reality TV show has come back once again to provide audiences with their next big guilty pleasure of the season. With Love Is Blind Season 6 premiering on none other than Valentine’s Day, it seems fitting that we’re all going to fall in love with a new group of singles who head into the pods set in a new location.

Throughout each season of Love Is Blind, a new group of singles find themselves in a new location as they attempt to make deep connections. As they begin to get paired up without seeing each other, the stakes consistently get higher and higher. With Season 6 almost here, fans can prepare themselves for even more love and drama as these singles take on the infamous pods to hopefully find love.

Where was Love is Blind Season 6 filmed?

According to Netflix, Season 6 of Love Is Blind will be taking place in Charlotte, North Carolina. Each season has taken place somewhere new, such as Texas, Seattle, Georgia, and more. A new location offers the audience an opportunity to get to know where each of the singles are from, and what they do in their professional lives.

In a September 2023 interview with Entertainment Weekly, Love Is Blind creator Chris Coelen shared the reason behind each season being filmed in a different city. “We like to be in places that have a big enough regional population that we can cast a really wide net and try to get people who haven’t run into each other hanging out in the one bar in town, or they’ve all run into each other on a dating app,’” he said. “‘We want a big enough diversity of people, so we tend to go for bigger metropolitan areas just because you find more people there.’”

How many contestants are on season 6?

Each season of Love Is Blind begins with 30 men and women entering the pods for the first time. Throughout the season, we follow a select few as they begin to get paired up as the show progresses. The couples who fall in love in the pods will decide if they want to get married in order to see one another and to see if love really is blind as they enter the real world together.

We can already expect this season to be as entertaining as the ones before, but we’re also really excited to see what’s in store for those couples who make it out of the pods. Honestly, who doesn’t like to be entertained on Valentine’s Day? I’m so here for it.
