Warning: Spoilers for Love Is Blind Season 4 ahead. Another season of Love Is Blind is here, and I’m going to venture to say that this is the most unhinged season yet. While Season 3 had its fair share of drama and blowouts (I’m still thinking about the infamous Cuties scene), Season 4 is already full of chaos… including a cast member who might be living a double life.
Since our paths are currently crossing, I’m guessing that you’ve just started watching Love Is Blind Season 4. Just like I was, you were probably passively watching (and munching on a snack) before hearing the words, “I’m a stripper” leave your speakers. Wait, rewind! Who in this cast is a stripper? If your first reaction was to turn to the internet and investigate, I’m here to tell you to simply resume the episode, because nobody in the cast is actually a stripper. (Well, that we know of.)
31-year-old cast member, Zack, made a name for himself in the Season 4 pods for telling outlandish stories and little white lies. (Why? Who knows.) The most shocking of these, however, is when he decided to tell several dates that he was a professional male stripper who went by the name Zack Attack. However, the bit didn’t last super long — Zack actually admitted that was a lie before telling us his actual profession. And, not going to lie, it’s low-key impressive.
No: he’s not a firefighter, or a cop, or any other stripper-costume-related profession. Zack is actually a criminal defense lawyer, and he’s starting his own practice in Seattle. Still pretty cool, IMHO.
Aside from just keeping things interesting, why did Zack lie about his job in the pods, even if it was just for a moment? Turns out, the actual connection between Zack and the adult entertainment industry is a lot closer than we’d think.
In a pod date with Irina, Zack revealed that growing up, his mother worked as a stripper. According to Zack, he grew up in poverty and his mother began stripping to put food on the table. Then, while he was in law school, his mother passed.
“I can remember being a kid, going through the drive-through, and my mom not having enough money to buy me a meal and her breaking down into tears,” Zack shared. “She was an amazing woman.”
While Zack may not be a stripper, he said that his biggest goal in life is to serve others. And as a criminal defense lawyer, it’s safe to say that he’s doing his part to help those who may need it.
