In a perfect world, our desks would be where we get all of our work done. I don’t know about you, but in reality, most of my work gets done laying in bed, which leads to way more impromptu naps than I’m willing to admit. Let’s be real: the basic wooden desk most colleges provide just don’t lend themselves to inspiration or productivity.
In an effort to actually start using my desk for its intended purpose, I’ve curated a list of some of the cutest desk accessories that will make you actually want to sit there and get to work. When you cultivate a space that makes you feel happy and inspired, you’ll actually want to spend time there. Take the summer to collect some new desk trinkets that speak to you and come fall, you’ll be ready to take on your work with full force. I see Dean’s List in your near future.
