As of very early this morning stateside, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are officially the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and more importantly, a ridiculously adorable married couple. Considering most royal weddings are pretty steeped in tradition, we weren’t expecting to get as ~emotional~ as we did for Harry and Meghan’s big day — but they’re not like a regular royal couple, they’re a cool royal couple, so the heartfelt ceremony had us getting teary-eyed pretty fast. Read on for a rundown of the I’m-not-crying-there’s-just-something-in-my-eye moments. (Or, you know, basically just the whole thing.)
Meghan’s mom was actually all of us

Multiple times throughout the ceremony Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland could be spotted switching between looking insanely proud and getting v emotional watching her daughter become a literal princess while marrying the man of her dreams and honestly, who could blame her?!Â
When Harry just couldn’t hide his ~feels~ about how gorgeous Meghan looked
That lip bite!

Just try to not audibly swoon while you watch Prince Harry sexily bite his lip while telling his soon-to-be-wife that she looks amazing. JUST TRY! (You can’t.)
All the ways the royal family paid tribute to Princess Diana
ICYMI, there were a few subtle tributes to Princess Di, Harry’s mother, throughout the ceremony. Meghan’s bouquet included forget-me-nots, Diana’s favorite flower, which were handpicked from the Kensington Palace by Prince Harry to be added to the bouquet. (I’m not crying, you are.) Diana’s older sister Lady Jane Fellowes also read from the Song of Solomon at the ceremony, and an empty seat next to William at the ceremony is thought by many to have been left open as a tribute to Diana.

When Bishop Michael Curry delivered a *beautiful* sermon
Michael Curry, the first black presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church in the U.S. was selected to give the sermon at the royal wedding, which included some tear-inducing words about love and quotes from Martin Luther King Jr.Â
“We must discover the power of love, the redemptive power of love, and when we do that, we will make of this old world a new world,” Curry told the royal wedding guests. “Love can help and heal when nothing else can. There’s power in love to lift up and liberate when nothing else will.”

They look SO happy, and truly, I’m surprised my heart even handled this level of ~feels~ at 6:30 in the morning.
