Earlier today, TMZ broke the news that rapper Cardi B and fiancé (or husband, apparently) Offset have actually been married for months, after finding their marriage certificate from September 20, 2017.
Apparently when Offset publicly proposed to Cardi B on stage in Philadelphia in October, they were already married. Excuse us, but what? They’ve been lying to us this whole time?!
It does make sense, though. On Sunday at the BET Awards, Migos won the award for best group and during his acceptance speech, Offset said, “Thank God, I thank my wife, you should thank yours.”
His comment definitely led fans to wonder if they were indeed married. If TMZ’s release of the official marriage certificate wasn’t enough to confirm the couple’s nine month marriage, Cardi B’s statement on Twitter definitely is.
This why i name my album “Invasion of privacy” cause people will do the most to be nosey about your life .Welp fuck it . pic.twitter.com/U3uHFOT3qK

Sick of people being “nosey” about her life, Cardi decided to dish it all using the notes app. She said that although her and Offset’s relationship was full of “breaking up and making up…we was so in love we didn’t want to lose each other, so one morning in September we woke up and decided to get married.”
Then in true Cardi B fashion she added a bit of humor at the end: “Now since you nosey little fucks know, at least ya can stop saying I had a baby out of wedlock.”
Congratulations Cardi and Offset!
