Peter Kraus is returning to the Bachelor world, and Bachelor Nation couldn’t be happier. Franchise creator Mike Fleiss confirmed on Twitter that the fan favorite will return to our televisions for the new Bachelor spinoff, The Bachelor Winter Games.
Yes, Peter will be looking for love– and going for the gold– on #TheBachelor Winter Games!!!!

Many speculated that Peter would be the next Bachelor following a controversial Bachelorette finale that saw Rachel Lindsay choose Bryan Abasolo over Peter because of his hesitations about proposing. Fans became even more outraged after watching Rachel and Peter’s awkward and heartbreaking interaction during the live finale special. Peter received an outpouring of support, leading many to believe that he was the front runner for Bachelor.
Bachelorette alum Arie Luyendyk Jr. was chosen instead, to the shock of Bachelor Nation.
Not much is known about The Bachelor Winter Games. The show is slated to premiere in Feb. 2018 to coincide with the Winter Olympic Games. This also means the spinoff will overlap with the next season of The Bachelor, which usually runs from January to March. All-stars from the franchise will compete against each other in “winter-themed athletic challenges” and for love while they stay in a luxury winter resort.
Sounds like Bachelor Pad in the mountains to me, but I’ll pretty much watch anything Bachelor related. If one thing is certain, it’s going to be dramatic, and if they get more fan favorites like Peter, it’s sure to be a success.
