WithĀ Riverdale on a summer hiatus, fans are feeling the drought of drama and suspense until the season 3 premiere in October. In the words of Hilary Duff on A Cinderella Story, āWaiting for [Riverdale] is like waiting for rain in this drought, useless and disappointing.ā
Well, Riverdale fans, hereās a detail about season 3 that might help you make it through the summer: things are about to get shadier.
Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa recently let TV Guide in on a little secret. āHiram is definitely, definitely, definitely one of our big bads,” he said.Ā “Riverdale is a small town, but a big place.”
While season 2 left us with Hiram framing Archie for murder, thereās apparently more on the horizon when it comes to trouble (not that thereās a lack of it ever). Aguirre-Sacasa unfortunately didnāt drop any names, but that doesnāt mean fans canāt spend the next couple of months playing a worthwhile game of āGuess Who?ā.
Thereās also the possibility of someone new coming onto the playing field and throwing fans a curveball. Itās impossible to know exactly whatās coming, but Iām sure fans are thankful for the little bit of information to keep them satisfied for a few weeks anyway.
Catch the Riverdale season 3 premiere on Wednesday, October 10 at 8/7c on The CW.
