The 13 Coolest Desk Lamps for Your Dorm Room

You’ll soon figure out that your dorm room has nowhere near enough lighting for the day, let alone for when you need to pull an all-nighter, so desk lamps are essential for all collegiettes. However, after all the effort you’ve put into decorating your room, you don’t want to be let down by having a really boring desk lamp! We’ve compiled a list of the best desk lamps to brighten up your dorm room.

1. Teen Vogue Desk Lamp from Dormify: $39.99

This is such a fun lamp! Not only will it literally brighten up your room, but it comes in a great selection of colors to brighten up your room’s color scheme as well. This lamp can also pivot easily so that it can light up any part of your room as you need it. We love this hot pink color, but it also comes in red, lime, or black.

2. Room Essentials Stick Lamp with Flower Print from Target, $16.99

This might not be the prettiest of the lamps, but it’s so handy. If you’re working in bed or are even just sitting with your laptop, it’s great to be able to have a lamp right next to you. Sometimes the best way to do to this isn’t your usual desk lamp on your bedside table, but to find a lamp that you can clip to your headboard (if you have one). This is such a great space saver if you don’t have a huge bedside table of if you’ve already filled yours with something else!

4. White Resin Table Lamp from Target, $29.99 – $39.99

This classic lamp is gorgeous. While serving its purpose, it’ll also bring a bit of fun to your room, since it’s one of the cutest lamps that we found. Shown here in pink for $29.99, it’s also available in blue (at $39.99).

6. Spot Light Lamp from Target, $34.39

This is the coolest lamp we’ve found, and it’s perfect for anyone who loves movies! If you’re avoiding boring lamps, then this is the one for you; it’s sure to attract comments from your friends. This would make such a cool addition to any dorm room, especially in this gorgeous teal color.
