Well fellow colleigettes, unfortunately the weeklong Halloween celebration has come to a close and if you are anything like me you couldn’t be more relieved. Halloween, which I recall just being a night of receiving a crazy amount of sugar and prancing around like your favorite cartoon character, has become one of the most elaborate holidays here in Madison and stirs up everyone’s creative juices. Once October 1st hits everyone’s minds are revolving around the spooky holiday and the countdown begins to come up with not just one but possibly three or four of the craziest and best costumes out there. This year, the Madison student body definitely didn’t disappoint. This was a week with no rules; everything goes and as you can see even some people’s inner Miley Cyrus comes out. Whether they dressed up to scare everyone at the party or dressed to show appreciation to their favorite restaurant on State Street, these costumes were definitely some standouts and props to another year of showing how Madison, Wisconsin does Halloween:
These two definitely came in like wrecking balls and after putting their J’s on hopefully were able to dance the whole night away.
