45 4th Of July IG Captions To Use Whether You Love America Or Hate It

Updated Published

It’s that time of year again: Break out the fireworks and sparklers! The Fourth of July is one of the best times to update your Instagram feed with a cute photo showcasing your personality. Sure, a few old faithful captions will always be classic for a Fourth of July pic, but I’ve tried to include some new captions that will get your friends’ praise.

It’s safe to say America is a work in progress, and celebrating a holiday with a problematic history may not be your idea of fun, especially on the heels of Juneteenth. The Declaration of Independence was only in the best interest of old white men; in 2024, our country still struggles with injustice. The celebration of the Fourth does not come without nuance and mixed emotions. If you’re on the fence or not feeling it at all, that’s completely valid. I’ve included a few captions for that as well.

Although the holiday does not come without controversy, and rightfully so, if you do find yourself poolside, grill-side, or watching fireworks, I’ve made a list of cute, flirty, and funny captions to use this Fourth of July weekend.
