5 Luxurious College Student Housing Complexes All Around The Country

If you’re in the market for new college housing, or simply looking to live vicariously through the experiences of other students, look no further than these five luxury student housing complexes near college campuses. You might mistake some of these apartments for resorts — they come with high-end amenities ranging from pools and hot tubs to game rooms and fitness classes. It might be hard to get yourself to class when you’re comfortable lounging in the infinity pool, but most of these complexes are only a short walk away from their respective colleges.

These properties are stunning, but it’s important to note that luxury student housing is not accessible to everyone. Many experts and students agree that it can worsen the divide between students with differing socioeconomic backgrounds. It’s also a growing industry for property developers, and risks pushing rent up for other students and neighboring communities.

Regardless, it’s pretty unreal to see what these developments have to offer. Here are five luxury college student housing developments across the United States.

Georgia Tech: Whistler

Opening in fall 2023 and located a short walk from Georgia Tech University, Whistler is one of the most extravagant student housing complexes in the U.S. Residents can relax in a rooftop infinity pool with a jumbotron, take yoga and spin classes, and even treat their dog to an on-site spa day. Whistler’s study spaces are sleek and calming, with wood paneling and plants lining the walls. Whistler offers everything from studio apartments to five-bedroom en suites.

Boise State University: Verve

Verve’s draw is definitely its resort-style pool with sunbeds and cabanas. The community also has a fire pit studded courtyard, outdoor grills, and games like cornhole and ping pong. When Boise State students aren’t too busy relaxing, they can get studying done in private and group study pods.

Georgia State University: Reflection

Reflection Student Apartments in Atlanta offers stunning skyline views from its apartments and its state-of-the-art fitness studio. The complex’s rooftop pool is salt water and temperature-controlled, and even has loungers for tanning. Reflection also offers an E-gaming room, where students can play games on Xbox One, Nintendo, and PlayStation. If that wasn’t enough, Reflection also has a club room, with games like ping pong and a full catering kitchen.

Pennsylvania State: Rise

Polished and modern, Rise at State College features upscale student apartments with up to five bedrooms. The living rooms have 50-inch flat LED TVs, and kitchens have hardwood floors with stainless steel appliances. No sore backs in the morning here — each bedroom also comes with a memory foam mattress. Community spaces include a virtual reality room, hot tub, and game lounge.

College of Charleston: Hoffler Place

Hoffler Place has a colorful and charming aesthetic. The second floor has poolside grills, a fire pit, and a courtyard for socializing. Their 24-hour fitness studio is also being outfitted with new equipment!
