Salty and sweet: it’s the ultimate candy combination. And I’ve got some good news for you: Hershey’s just made it a reality. That’s right, Reese’s just launched their new peanut butter cups that are filled with pretzels. The treat will be offered in the big cup size and the mini cup size, which will come in a snack pack. The new snack will not be available in time for Halloween, but they are set to be sold in November. The mini cup size will not hit stores until January 2021. I can already tell you it will be worth the wait!
Yearning for the days when the world’s biggest problem was that Reese’s wasn’t stuffed with pretzels.

In the company’s press release, the brand explained that this is “a product that represents how we’re all feeling in 2020. We’re keeping it together on the outside, but we’re salty on the inside.” Wow, pure genius. The large cups will be 1.3 oz standard size (single cup) for a suggested retail price of $1.49 and a 2.6 oz king size (two cups) for a suggested retail price of $2.09. Meanwhile, the miniatures will be sold for a suggested retail price of $3.79. Both will be permanent additions to Reese’s product line at retail stores nationwide. My wallet is ready for this impulse purchase!
Leading up to the news, Reese’s twitter account hinted at this new candy all week with salty tweets. The candy mogule also teased Reese’s Big Cups with Chips. These will be available for a limited time only beginning in March 2021. Reese’s has really outdone themselves this time.
