Tarte Cosmetics has exchanged Dubai for Turks and Caicos, so let’s see how much marketing money they are putting into their influencer trip this time. All of your favorite creators are partying with Tarte Cosmetics on Turtle Tail peninsula of Providenciales, or as Tarte has coined it, “Tarte Island.”
Emara, the estate where they are staying, was previously owned by the iconic Prince (complete with an extravagant purple driveway). Of course, the eight-acre estate is gated, and has its own white sand private beach. It’s over 20,000 square feet with a total of 17 bedrooms.Â
What’s a grand estate formerly owned by Prince without amenities? Not only do guests get to enjoy private concierge services that can arrange all your needs, but there are also staff butlers on site, so you don’t have to lift a finger. Oh, and Tarte wouldn’t leave influencers to make their own food during this getaway. The company paid extra to have a private chef, Adrian Forte, brought in. Forte will be available to Tarte’s guests 24/7 during the brand trip.
Here’s What We Know About The Tarte Influencer Trip In Turks And Caicos
Emara also has clear kayaks for guests to take out on the private beach, as well as equipment for snorkeling in the island bays. Plus, it wouldn’t be an influencer brand trip without a yacht. Good thing the estate has a dock over 200 feet for any yachts, chartered boats, or jet skis guests may need.
The Emara estate is divided into two sections, the East and the West. Emara East is the section that was previously owned and loved by Prince. The East side includes eight bedrooms, all with ensuite washrooms and king beds. Seven of the bedrooms have an ocean view, while one has a view of the marina.Â
Emara West has a total of nine bedrooms. Seven of them include king beds and ensuite bathrooms, while the other two are smaller bedrooms with queen beds. Three of the West side bedrooms have ocean views, four have a marina view, and the remaining two don’t have a water view.Â

The rates for the estate vary based on the time of the year, and if you are renting the entire estate or just one side. A stay at the entire property from January 6 to May 31 will set you back $16,000 a night! The property also has a minimum stay of five nights. This means Tarte has potentially budgeted a whopping $80,000 in accommodations alone for influencers on the trip. And that’s not counting the extra fees for flying in a private chef or taxes. The tax rate is 12%, which, according to my calculations, is another cool $9,600. *Cries in broke college student.*Â
So now we’re at $89,600 in order to simply stay at Emara for FIVE nights. These rates only include use of a House Manager, Concierge Service, Daily Housekeeping, and 24/7 Security.
With a brand trip comes free round-trip flights. While the exact price Tarte paid isn’t readily available, similar flights at this time of year (from L.A. to Providenciales) range from $800 to over $1,000 per person. By the looks of Tarte’s social media, there are at least 20 creators on the trip. That brings us to over $100,000 total.Â
If you’ve seen Tarte creator trips before, you know that Tarte always loads the rooms up with Tarte products, clothes, jewelry, and luggage. I would be shocked if each creator was gifted less than $2,000 of good quality products. If you’re keeping tabs, we’re up to $140,000.Â

Adding in the costs for alcohol, decorations, additional staff, game set-up, and bonus scheduled amenities like morning yoga with a celeb instructor, IV drips, massages, a celeb DJ, and a visit from puppies, this trip is easily costing Tarte over $250,000. While many people may be surprised by this number, marketing budgets are huge (especially for multi-million dollar companies). The exposure Tarte gets from the contracted posting of all invited creators and spectators is priceless.
