We’re only 41 days away from election day, and the stakes are pretty high. The two major party candidates, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, represent starkly different visions for the U.S.—and it’s up to us to decide which America we want to start building over the next four to eight years.
Millennial women have a HUGE part to play in this election, as our generation makes up one third of the voting-eligible population. That means we really could decide who becomes our next president—but only if we actually VOTE. The Center for American Women and Politics found that in the 2012 election, only 45 percent of women 18-24 voted. That’s not a great turnout when our most basic human rights lie in the balance. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Rock the Vote and more than 50 other women’s brands to register 100,000 women to vote before election day.
Check out the voter registration widget below all the articles on our site, and make sure to check if you’re registered and take steps to get there if you’re not. Don’t forget to share your registration status with the hashtag #OurVoteCounts—Your post could make the difference in whether or not your friends register, too!
Happy voting!
