Q&A
HerCampus Adelphi: What activities are you involved in on campus?
Anna Smith: I am involved in Intervarsity Christian Fellowship and I serve as both the Prayer Team Coordinator and Worship Leader. I am an RA in Earle Hall, a member of CSTEP and a member of NRHH-National Residence Hall Honorary.
HC: What’s your favorite part about going to Adelphi?
AS: The people in my community. I like that Adelphi is small and that I am able to develop real relationships with people on this campus. I love that it has become my home and that I’ve met so many people, professors students andworkers that have positively impacted my life. I really enjoy being here.
HC: Where on campus do you spend most of your time?
AS: I think i spend most of my time either in the Earle RA office or the library…either way I am usually not in my room.
HC: What was the last song you listened to?
AS: J Cole-Love Yourz
HC: Who’s your favorite music artist?
AS: Hmm…this is a tough one, but I would have to say Andrea Bocelli. If you don’t know who that is then you are missing out on one of the most angelic voices on the planet! He has a special place in my heart, my dream is to sing opera with him one day!
HC: What’s your favorite movie?
AS: My favorite movie is My Big Fat Greek Wedding…I know practically all the lines, that movie is great and gets me every time!
HC: Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts?
AS: Dunkin’
HC: Netflix or Cable?
AS: Netflix all the way!
HC: What’s your favorite holiday?
AS: Christmas :)!!! I love how it brings everyone together and that it brings out all of those warm and fuzzy feelings! I also am a big sucker for Christmas music, movies and holiday lights. It’s truly the most wonderful time of year! (Forgive me I’m pretty corny when I’m ready to be)
HC: Can you tell us one of your New Year Resolutions?
AS: I usually don’t do these because you can never really trust yourself with them, but I think mine would be to always remember to be good to myself. As much as I love to help others, I should remember that I’ve got to love and take care of myself. It’s important!
HC: Let’s hear a random fact!
AS: I used to sing in Ukrainian! I sang at festivals and everything. It was definitely one of the best times of my life, I got to be sort of famous for a little while and it was cool, I hope to do it again someday!
