Facebook Relationship Status Pros and Cons

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Adelphi chapter.

Its amazing how Facebook relationship statuses are still so complicated to decode.  Luckily, for all of you ladies I am here to give you the Pros and Cons of each status.

Single

Pro:  Girl, you have nothing to worry about. You have free time to do what ever you want. It is all about you.

Con: You continuously have to see all your friends who are in a relationship statuses go on about how much they love each other, birthdays and anniversary collages, and not to mention those horrible Valentine’s Day shout outs. It is just painful all around.

Friends with Benefits

Pro: You get all the good stuff that comes with a relationship with out being in one.   There are people who are seriously envious of your status.  Good for you.  You get the best of both worlds.

Con-  Judgement from your friends whose statues are in a relationship.

Its Complicated

Pro- Is there really anything good about this?

Con-  Everyone knows there is trouble in paradise. Get your act together.

In a Relationship

Pro- This is fantastic. You get to rub this in all your friend’s faces. You get to blow up their feed with cheesy romantic- make me want to throw up- love post about one another.

Con- Really no con. Great for you.  None of your single friends are tired of your perfect relationship. Keep on being that fantastic couple.
